Ten Things Aspen Shall Have Learned from Me

1- To require respect from with whomever she is in a relationship
2- To not base friendships on who is popular or how much $ somebody has
3- To say 'please' and 'thank you' everytime
4- To be cautious but not afraid
5- To feel the music
6- To never kill a sentient being (not even spiders)
7- To roll with life's punches
8- The difference between use and abuse
9- How to do an ollie and a wheelie
10- To think for herself

#1~ So important.

#2~ You mean your not supposed to do that?

#3~ I say please and thank you everytime

#4~ I really have to work on this one. I showed my daughter pictures of people cliff jumping. First thing she said, “Cannonball! Can we go there mama.” It’s hard to teach something you don’t practice.

#5~ Again so important.

#6~ Spiders are our bestest friends.

#7~ Everyday a good day.

#8~ No comment.

#9~ Then onto some frontside 50-50’s, nollie backside 180 heel flips, and a sweet Kickflip McTwist. Forget the wheelie.

#10~ By far the most important.

Like I said before, Aspen is one lucky girl.

The best advice coming from a fabulous father ;).

I love her name. Aspen is a fabulous name.

Sorry that I bailed on Raleigh. I had an escape plan that involved Buffett so I ran with it. I will be in Raleigh again.

Great list DAD :)

How 'bout adding: Question everything...regardless of who is telling you not to :)

Always has and will continue to get me in a lot of trouble.....Not because of what Im asking ....but because of the askee's own insecurity......When will it be OK to just say..." I dont know, but I will do my best to find out and get back with U"? Thats all I'm asking......

oh...there I go again.....haha!

gnat,
welcome hon. thank you

k,
thank you sweetheart! sadly, all i can teach her is the ollie and MAYBE the 50-50 frontside (in my day) but i beg to differ with the wheelie! other than that, im glad to see were in such agreement ;)

blonde,
thankyou very much. and i dont blame you for bailing, hell, i'd leave a naked nicole kidman alone in my bed for a buffett show (and thats saying something!) so i think we have the same priorities ;)

doc,
that was the idea i was trying to get across with #10 but i like the way you worded it better.
when do we get to see that profile pic in a larger format already??

H20pixie,
thank you oh so kindly!

I once intentionally killed an Army Worm with a weedwacker and felt intense remorse afterwards.
