Oingo Boingo

Fri Nov 1,1991 L.A.,CA And this is the 2nd great reason that Irvine Meadows is special to me. At this point in their career Boingo had reduced their touring to 2 shows a year: Haloween (my B-day) and Day of the Dead (Nov 1st). And what an outstanding show! The seats werent great but the performance and music sure as hell were! This may have been the last year (therefor, last performance???) that they did this before breaking up for good. If you dont know Boingo then you dont know Danny Elfman. He is now a Grammy Award winning composer. He has done far too many Hollywood soudtracks to list. My favorite is The Simpsons theme song. Long live The Elf! not a tour
